How to Get It Right on Your First Date

How To Get it Right On Your First Date

Admit it, you’re not going on a date for some extra tension in your already hectic life. It’s a break from your monotonous life for an adventure. The thing people quite forget is that sky is the limit when it comes to what to do. Nobody can help you as much as you can. Take some time, think about it and go and nail that first date!
Here’s a small peek into what all you must think about:

Off with the invisible barrier

Stop any excuses that you must not be pushy on the first date or he/she is still new to you or anything that stops you from planning out your date. You’re doing it for yourself as well as for YOUR DATE. Don’t be shy and don’t hesitate to grab the wheel.

Engaging Place

This is THE place for your date. Try not to go somewhere where you just have to sit back, do something (like watch or eat) and talk. Find something engaging. This is not only more enjoyable but also you’ll come to know much more to that person. How about a carnival with loads of games and food?

75% rule

You should, at the MOST, plan only 75% of the date. Allow the rest to go with the flow or ask your date what do they want to do next. Be open to new ideas and of course, the present.

Casual & Copulationy

The dress. Now, this is as much about you as it is about impressing your date. Pick something you shall be comfortable in but also something you don’t take out from your wardrobe usually because it’s special. Ask your friends what would look good on you if you’re confused. If you’re looking for a relationship that’s long lasting, your date must accept you for who you are. So be YOU.

Look out

You should always look out if your date is enjoying or is happy. Don’t be too nervous or to engrossed to forget what matters the most. At the end of the day, it’s how it went for you both that matters.

A Test

This is something extra and requires some extra effort. Everyone wants to know how was the date for the other person. And no one is a mind reader. Think about something that would test if your date enjoyed or not. For example, you can ask if he/she wants to go home or to this great place you planned. If they want the date to continue, chances are that they choose the place. But do not worry about what happens. Every person is unique. What seems from outside may not be what really is.
