New Orleans might just be one of the best places for a vibrant date night thanks to its music, cuisine, and endless nightlife.

New Orleans might be known as the Big Easy, but this is a city that is vibrant, fun, and perfect as a travel and date night destination. Not only is the city the home of Mardi Gras, but it is also a center for entertainment, history, and amazing eats.

Whether you visit the French Quarter, the Garden District, or the Arts District, there is something for everyone. And if you are planning a date night experience, then there are plenty of options from a historic tour, to a night at the casino, or even a trip on the Natchez, an authentic steamboat that travels the length of the city twice per day.

Other attractions you may want to hit up for an amazing date night include the Mardi Gras museum, the New Orleans Museum of Art, or even the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Depending on when you are planning your date, you could always choose any of the many festivals that the city is host to, including the Jazz & Heritage Festival or the French Quarter Festival.

Emeril’s Restaurant New Orleans

If you are a fan of trying the cuisine of celebrity chefs, then we have to advise you try Emeril’s restaurant, as the go-to option for an amazing date night. And while Emeril Lagasse might have multiple restaurants in the city, we have to specifically recommend Emeril’s Restaurant on Tchoupitoulas St.

Having eaten here once, we have to admit to being partial to this location. Not only is the food worthy of all the accolades it has received, but we didn’t feel like we were overpaying just because of the chef’s celebrity status.
