I’m glad that summer is over. Bring on the Fall! Fall dating is the best and the most romantic.
Cuddles
If anything, Fall is a time to get warm and cuddly. And to cuddle. Whether you’re watching a movie, bingeing on Netflix, sitting in front of the fire, or just talking, the Fall is the best time to do it all under a blanket and intertwined.
Weather
Fall is my favorite season by far, so it’s easy to see why I love its weather most. This season is the best time for active Fall dating outside. Try hiking, biking, walking, jogging, and even stargazing for great sites and amazing, cooler Fall temps.
Fun fact: if you look up ‘stargazing’ in Urban dictionary, it means making out. Haha.
Active Dates
Another reason to get outside and get active is because it will help you stay warm. The more you move, the warmer you’ll be. Fall dating is nothing if not the most fun outside. So I don’t want to hear that you’re too cold to go outside in the Fall, get out there and move! (I feel like the gym teacher with the whistle.)
Stay Inside
Ok, ok. If you are too cold, then don’t go out. You can stay in. Drink spiced cider and warm cocoa. In fact, you should cook, and bake, too. Fall weather is perfect for opening the windows and cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
Cook Together
Get into the kitchen and make a feast! Fall dating is perfect with your person and some food. Start with a warm thick cheese soup or a chicken stew. Make a large bowl of crisp, fresh greens with carrots, cucumbers, sunflower seeds, peas, and any other delicious toppings you prefer. Make sure to bake some carrot zucchini muffins or a spiced apple or pear cake. You will have a warm, delicious smelling house and a Fall feast perfect to fill your bellies.
Tree Color Change
I mean, is there anything more romantic than the bright green leaves of summer slowly dying their slow death of turning to the color brown. No, but seriously. When the leaves change color in the Fall, it’s one of the most beautiful sights on earth. The sharp reds, bright yellows, and electric oranges are so gorgeous, you cannot get enough of them. Go to any park, take a drive, or if you’re lucky enough, just sit on your porch or balcony and take in all the beautiful that is the Fall season.
Outside Activities
Other people love the Fall too, so there’s lots to do outside. Apple picking, pumpkin patches, and Fall festivals are just the beginning of the fun Fall dating you can enjoy. The weather is good for window shopping, too. You don’t have to buy anything and you won’t be sweating walking around, outside. Perf.
Picnic
So what if you have to bundle up? Grab a blanket, some snacks and drinks, and some books and other activities and go have yourselves a picnic. The sun will warm you up but the breeze will keep you comfortable and cool. It’s the best of both worlds.
If you aren’t convinced that Fall is the best season for romantic dates, then you must not like the Fall. In that case, buckle up, because it will be a long time before summer is back.
