Bali is one of the most sought after tourist destinations in the world and its capital Denpasar has a lot to offer. It has a blend of both traditional beauty and modern amenities which cater to all the needs of people traveling from all corners of the world. You can find temples and monuments that are centuries old, and state-of-the-art living facilities. From the exotic cultural performances to the picturesque views, we have compiled to you a list of things to do and places to visit when touring the great island city.

1) Bali Sharks Rescue Center

Just off the island of Serangan, you can experience one of the things very few people have ever encountered – swimming with sharks. Sharks are not as wild as people think they are, and this is seen in Bali. They are nurtured from a young age and these carnivorous creatures are friendly to people. However, you need an arranged tour for you to be permitted to swim with them. Moreover, you will be required to have certain safety gear and snorkels to ensure that you get the best experience without any technicalities.

2) Bali museum

There is no better way to learn the history of Balinese people than to visit the Bali Museum, where you get to learn all the roots of the locals. The Museum Negeri Propinsi Bali, which is better known simply as the Bali museum is the oldest and also the largest spot which stores all the history of the island. Furthermore, you get to see other artifacts from years ago including stone carvings, traditional fabric, Karangasem sculptures, and paintings.

3) Cultural parade at Wedhi Budaya Arts Center

If you are interested in delving deeper into the culture of the locals, you can make arrangements to visit Bali for the annual Bali art festival. It is usually held in Taman Wedhi Budaya sometime around July and August. There is a wide array of live cultural performances, art exhibitions, and parades. You can get to see the locals playing their traditional musical instruments. The Balinese ladies are the focal point as they dance their way in their regal costumes. Such a trip has to be planned well in advance to avoid the last-minute rush and also getting to miss out. You can check your most preferred flight to Denpasar Bali and easily book it online several days, weeks, or even months before the travel date. Doing so you can avoid last-minute rush and hiked fares.

4) Pasar Badung Market

The Pasar Badung Market is one of the biggest in Denpasar and you can easily find the best grocery and other goods at affordable prices. Denpasar is very much known for its busy markets and shoppers from all over the country and beyond flock the markets where they can find a lot of interesting things to buy.

The market is found less than a kilometer from the city center so you can even take a walk towards it. Apart from the numerous handicrafts, accessories, fabrics, and food, you can buy, you get to purchase for yourself and your loved ones some beautiful souvenirs.

5) Sanur beach

Boasting of having been the first-ever beach in Bali to host luxury resorts, you can have a good time here, relaxing and unwinding on the day’s tiring activities. It is a perfect spot to spend some quality time with your loved ones away from the crowds.

Getting to Denpasar, Bali need not be a big hassle for you, it is as simple as getting your passport ready and booking your air ticket. You can also book your flight to Denpasar Bali online without straining much going to the airline to do so physically.
