What’s better than Christmas? How about, wine and Christmas? How about wine for Christmas? And maybe some whiskey and cheese? I think we have a winner.
Advent calendars are more popular than ever and not just the chocolate variety. Nope, these days you can indulge in wine and whiskey. Not a drinker? Try the cheese advent calendar. Here’s more about all three!
Twelve Nights of Wine Box
It’s just $129 for the Twelve Nights Of Wine Box. The wines come from Italy, France, Spain, and more. There’s a glass of wine for each of the 12 nights and each is different from the last.
The design is in golds and “bold reds for fireplace chats and wool blankets.” And the packaging is full of “rich whites as refreshing as a mad dash through the snow.”
The box has a surprise to it as it’s designed so that you cannot see the next night until you pull it out of the box. And what’s more than that? Ten lucky people will find an extra special surprise. That is a golden bottle meaning you’ve won an annual subscription of Vinebox for 2019. It’s valued at $644 and you get free wine for a year. Talk about a Merry Christmas!
Jack Daniel’s Advent Calendar
Jack Daniel’s is doing it, too, and Whiskey fans are going to love it. The sales start in November and the advent calendars will be available in a British supermarket called ASDA.
ASDA will begin selling the calendars, also known as the only advent calendar that Jack and Coke fans need. The set is nothing if not festive, including a Christmas tree cover, and comes with 23 Jack Daniel’s miniatures in different varieties.
The flavors sure to be included are Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire, Jack Daniel’s Gentleman Jack and Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel.
Cheese Advent Calendar
Is the coolest thing about this advent calendar that it’s sold at Target? For $20? Or that it’s a cheese advent calendar? I just cannot decide!
And lucky you, just last year this calendar was only sold in the UK! And now, for it to be at Target and for only $20? Well, I guess dreams really do come true.
Because of the popularity of the calendar and the requests that came in last year from across the globe, a cheese manufacturer from England has made it possible to bring the calendars stateside. Yes!
The calendar will feature 24 individually wrapped pieces of cheese from brands like Jarlsberg, Applewood, and Ilchester. The advent calendars will be on shelves at 247 Target stores across the US starting in November.
Other types of advent calendars that are popular this year range from tea to Santa coming out of the chimney, and of course chocolate. You can also get your hands on Peanuts, Light Up, Lego Star Wars, Barbie Careers, and Paw Patrol Advent Calendars.
Christmas is coming soon and we all love the traditions. Not only is there St Nick, but also Advent calendars, cookie making, caroling (does anyone do this anymore,) and so much more. Happy almost Christmas season!
