He was always traveling, eating, and writing. These are the things we will remember him for most.
According to him, he loved the feeling of doing laundry at home. A character, he was.
Anthony, referred to as Tony by so many, was a sharp-tongued man with a restless spirit, ready for adventure.
He taught us so much about life, food, travels, and being your own true self. And what’s better to celebrate someone than through their own words.

His Travel quotes:
When I’m on vacation, I live a very different life. I want to forget who I am and I want to go to places where no one knows who I am.
Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life — and travel — leaves marks on you.
If I am an advocate for anything, it is to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river. Walk in someone else’s shoes or at least eat their food. It’s a plus for everybody.

- Find good food, eat it, and tell everyone about it.
- Visit cultures different from your own, value the people you find, and tell their stories. Lift up these people!
- Travel. Travel a lot. Never stop traveling.
- Speak your own truth, even if it’s not a popular truth.
Can’t get enough? Do you want more Anthony Bourdain?
