Did you catch my first story about the reality dating show that has been proven to lead to true love? This is part two, about couples that have not only stayed together from these franchised shows, but are happy, and thriving. Not all of the couples from the show make it, most do not actually. But a lot did. Here are some more love stories from the show.
Ashley I and Jared
Do you know the story of these two? It was definitely not love at first sight, that’s for sure. Ashley I and Jared met on Bachelor in Paradise and initially, it was a go. They hit it off, right off the bat. But it took a long time for Jared to come around and pick just her.
In fact, Ashley I was on Bachelor Winter Games and met a hunky Canadian Kevin Wendt who she started dating. It wasn’t until then, when she was dating and really falling for someone else, that Jared realized she was the one for him. Not the best for Kevin but for Ashley I, it was finally a dream come true. And now? She and Jared are together, happily engaged, and planning a wedding. Yay!
Jade and Tanner
Jade and Tanner met on Bachelor in Paradise, too. They were a strong couple early on during the show.
They went on dates, lounged around for long talks, and fell in love. They had a couple of fights on the show but neither ever wanted to be with or try a relationship with anyone else, and by the end of the show, they were engaged. They have since married and had a baby.
Carly and Evan
These two were also on Bachelor in Paradise and it was definitely not love at first sight for this eventual couple. The two were good enough friends, he made her laugh and was in love with her the whole time. Her? Not so much.
In fact, the two went on a date on the show and there was a challenge. You had to kiss while eating hot peppers and the challenge was also to beat the current time for a “hot kiss” for the Guinness Book of World Records. And it was not hot, well, not copulationy hot. Carly was disgusted, literally, and puked. She said that kissing him was pretty much the worst and that it wasn’t just the peppers that made her want to puke.
But he wasn’t letting go so easily. In fact, he claimed damsel in distress and went to the hospital on the show, and it was all to get Carly’s attention. And he did. She came to his aid and realized that she loved him, too. He told her that he already knew she loved him, just had to wait for him to come around. And since? They are married and have a baby, along with a son Evan brought into the relationship. They already are a blooming family.
If these love stories don’t make you believe that real love can come out of this show, I don’t know what will. I love this show so, yes, I’m biased. But it’s not only entertaining and fun, the stories that come out of it are true and changing lives with happily ever afters.
