Staying cooped up indoors with your beau? Don’t let this be an excuse to forgo your date night! Making your partner feel special during this time is critical in keeping the love alive when everything else feels uncertain. There are tons of ideas that you can try to spice up your quarantine life. If you are looking for awesome ideas, you’ve come to the right place.

Go for an Art Tour

You don’t have to leave your home to enjoy the best artwork in the world. If you and your partner have been dying to see some of the world-famous artworks, many famous art galleries have opened their doors to art enthusiasts – albeit online – through virtual tours. Explore the beautiful halls of the Guggenheim, Louvre, National Women’s History Museum, the Smithsonian Natural Museum of Natural History, and even the Vatican. Impress your date by reading up on their favorite artists beforehand.

Play 20 Questions

A popular game for dates is 20 questions. If you and your partner are apart during the quarantine, this is something that you can do over FaceTime or a phone call. The game goes like this: One of you thinks of an item, place, or person, and the other person can ask yes or no questions to find out what the other person is thinking about.

Go Educational

Alternatively, you can tweak this game a bit by asking 20 questions about each other. It is an excellent way to get to know your partner on a deeper level.

For an additional boost of confidence post-pandemic, you can try to learn together. Choose a podcast or TED Talks that you can watch and listen to together. After this, you can discuss what each of you has learned. You have to remember that pushing and motivating each other to improve is crucial to strengthening and deepening your bond.

Cook the Same Meal – Apart!

If you are among those who are spending the quarantine time miles apart, you can still have some fun by cooking the same meal, even while not together. You can try to cook the same meal using the same technique, or you can simply let each other’s creativity guide the cooking process. This activity can give you an idea of how you and your partner are in the kitchen, especially if you consider them to be your lifelong partner.

Prepare a Rooftop Dinner Date

If you live together, you can make your partner feel special by preparing a simple yet romantic rooftop (if you have one) date. Of course, your partner might be itching to see the outside world after many months of staying indoors. You can show your partner a different view today with a rooftop dinner date, and a bottle of wine for good measure.

Set Up a Backyard Picnic Date

If you are among those whose travel plans have been canceled due to travel restrictions, you can bring the outdoors by setting up a picnic area in your backyard. If you don’t have a tent, you can rent from Accel Rentals and prepare a blanket to spread the beautiful meal you have prepared for your special someone. You can play cards and simply throw your cares to the wind, because both of you deserve to enjoy some quiet time.

Quarantine time does not have to be boring. Often, your imagination is your only limitation. Try some of these tips to keep the fire of your love burning.
